WHAT ARE YOUR OPTIONS?

DONATIONS

We will happily accept ANY crystals for donations.

We will cover all costs and 25-35% of proceeds from the sale of your donations will be donated to Save The Children, a NFP working with children & their families around the world often affected by exploitation in the crystal & mineral mining industry.

SELL YOUR CRYSTALS

This is a good option for anyone who would like to be paid quickly and/or rehome a number of crystals at once!

Select this option in your application below, attach some images and a description of your stones & we'll get back to you with a price! You are always welcome to negotiate <3

You will be paid for your crystals AS SOON as we receive them!

We are looking for anything from points, spheres, eggs, pyramids, flames, slices, clusters, carvings, palms stones, basically anything over 5cm!

We will NOT be accepting small carving & tumbles as they can be tricky to sell <3

SELL YOUR CRYSTALS NOW!

CO-SIGN YOUR CRYSTALS

This is a great option for statement and collectors crystals!

You will receive 40% of the proceeds from the sale of your crystal once it is SOLD.

This option will allow you to make the most profit, however we will only be accepting select crystals for co-signing to ensure we can rehome your crystals <3

Unfortunately we cannot accept FRAGILE crystals (like gypsum & fine clusters) <3

First up we need to ensure we can remain in contact to discuss your application! Please input your name & contact details and maybe a little bit of info on yourself & your crystal collection! <3

Please select an option on how you would like your crystals to be rehomed from the options above. Please take a second to understand these options, but you are always welcome to change your mind <3

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CRYSTALS

Describe your crystals with as much details as possible! That includes what they are (all good if you can't remember!), how big they are and detail any chips, scratches or defects they may have (we don't judge!)

Attach a couple images of your crystals to help us understand their condition, quality & size! Please ensure crystals are in GOOD LIGHTING (direct sunlight preferred) so we can get a good look at your beautiful crystals! <3

Once you're happy with your application, click SUBMIT and we'll let you know if your application is accepted! We will only be accepting a small amount of crystals per restock, so if you dont hear back from us, you'll be considered for our next restock! <3

SHIPPING INFO

WHO PAYS FOR SHIPPING?

Shipping costs vary dependant on your selected method of rehoming crystals...

DONATIONS: We cover the shipping cost for crystal donations.

SELLING & COSIGNING CRYSTALS: When selling an cosigning crystals shipping costs will be distributed 50/50 between YOU & The Guide Crystals. For example, if you sell us 5 crystals for $100, and shipping costs $10, your total payout will come to $95 to account for shipping.

Shipping will be calculated based on location & weight of crystals.

DO I HAVE TO SET UP POSTAGE MYSELF?

No you don't have to organise shipping yourself, we can set everything up for you!

Because we are an Aus Post Business Customer, we get slightly discounted rates on shipping. Once your application is APPROVED, we will ask you to weigh your package so we can generate a shipping label.

You'll be sent this shipping label (which will be prepaid) so all you have to do is print it off at home and drop your package off at your local Aus Post!

HOW DO I SHIP MY CRYSTALS SAFELY?

We will create a guide on how to safely package & post your crystals. It is important to follow this and package your crystals carefully so they do not get damaged in the mail!

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CRYSTALS BREAK IN THE MAIL?

In the unfortunate event of a crystal breaking in transit, we will assess the situation and attempt to provide a solution that suits both of us.

If a crystal is slightly damaged but not beyond repair, we may be able to sell it at a discounted price but we cannot guarantee this.

In the event that a crystal is beyond repair, we may need to consider returning the stone.

It is important to follow our packaging guidelines as it ensures your crystal arrives to us in pristine condition. The Guide Crystals is not liable for damage during this transit process, as we do not have oversight of your packaging process.

While we will attempt to provide a solution and be sympathetic to your situation, the packaging process is in your hands and its important to follow these directions carefully (I'm so sorry!)

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

WHEN WILL I GET PAID?

Below are some details on WHEN you will get paid, depending on how you choose to rehome your crystals...

DONATIONS: No payment.

SELLING YOUR CRYSTALS: You will receive payment for your crystals AS SOON as they arrive in our possession & have been inspected.

We have chosen to only send payment AFTER we have received your crystals to avoid scammers & fraud.

CO-SIGNING YOUR CRYSTALS: When co-signing your crystals you will receive payment once your crystal is SOLD.

This is to ensure that we can find a buyer for your stones and is the reason why we request ONLY STATEMENT & COLLECTORS crystals for co-signing.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE GUIDE CRYSTALS RECEIVES YOUR CRYSTALS & THEY DO NOT MATCH YOUR APPLICATION?

If your crystals arrive to us and they DO NOT match the description in your application, (whether its smaller, visually different or incorrect), we are within our rights to negotiate on the price.

If we cannot come to an agreement on a new price, your crystals will be returned safely to you (so please ensure your application is accurate & truthful!)

HOW DO YOU SEND PAYMENTS?

We are flexible with our payment options! We can transfer funds directly to your bank account or PayPal!

We are also happy to organise gift cards for The Guide Crystals as payment or we can organise a trade if there are any trinkets you've had your eye on!

This process will be set up when your application is accepted!

HOW CAN I TRUST YOU WILL SEND MY MONEY?

All financial operations will be handled by Melanie, the CFO of The Guide Crystals.

Melanie (AKA my mother) has been an accountant for 40 years, and is currently employed as the CFO of Australia & NZ's largest B2B incentives company.

She has dealt will thousands of payments & invoices over her career, so don't stress, she will make sure you get paid <3

WE REQUIRE RESPECTFUL INTERACTIONS

We are more than happy to negotiate on price & processes but we do require respect when having these discussions <3

It is important to understand that this endeavor is not driven by a desire to make a massive profit off your gorgeous crystals, but out of a love for preloved crystals.

Our goal is to offer you a solution to rehoming your crystals and offer our customers, affordable and sustainable crystals. This endeavour is driven by a respect for you, our customers, our planet and its people, so we require everyone who applies to this crystal rehoming program to hold this same level of respect for us at The Guide Crystals <3

WE HAVE A RIGHT TO REJECT YOUR APPLICATION

As much as we would love to rehome every single crystal, our capacities are limited and we have a right to reject your application if we do not think we can rehome your crystal <3

You also have a right to reject any propositions we put forth in regards to your crystals. If you do not like our price, or if you change your mind about rehoming your crystals you are always welcome to back out of negotiations BEFORE YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED & YOUR CRYSTALS HAVE BEEN SENT TO US <3

FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

If you wish to rehome your crystals through a more profitable means, we'd recommend selling your crystals yourself!

Platforms like Etsy, Ebay, Depop & Facebook Marketplace are great options to rehome your crystals! If you're looking to make a large profit, we will always recommend rehoming your crystals yourself and considering The Guide Crystals as a back-up option <3
