I love trinkets & treasures, nicks & nacks, but most importantly; consuming consciously!
My mission at The Guide Crystals is not to sell at you, but inspire you to find ways to do better & be more creative everyday!
In my personal life, I shop slowly & consciously. I buy second hand & support small businesses, but most importantly I like to educate myself on what I am contributing to.
I have found more enjoyment in this form of consumption, through appreciation of the uniqueness & detail in the old & the timeless; trough patience in waiting for the perfect something to appear instead of seeking it out at a Kmart.
I hope to inspire others to consder this more mindful, appreciative form of consumption, as well as share my love for the trinkets and treasures of the past!
The Guide Crystals is also my creative outlet amongst the hustle and bustle of my corporate 9-5. It's an escape, it something to look forward to & its a space to create!
In my free time I love to garden & take care of my indoor plants. One of my goals this summer is to create a sunflower field in my suburban backyard! I think with a little delusional determination, I can make it happen :)
I have over 100 indoor plants, one of my favourite activities is pottering around like a grandmother watering them. I love everything to do with nature, which is why I love crystals!
Crystals are similar to plants to me. They are beautiful snapshots of natures creations, wonderful reminders to ground yourself & appreciate the little things in life.
